Is Mother Earth Roundup Ready? Maybe not. 2013 was not a good year for glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup - and 2014 was worse. Roundup is the herbicide most commonly sprayed on GMO crops and beyond. It's also used to dry down crops like wheat, oats, sugarcane and legumes to speed their harvest. We chose ten, but there were many more peer reviewed studies published on the toxic effects of this chemical. Following is a list of the studies, with links. It only got worse in 2014. We'll be posting the 2014 top 10 soon so stay tuned.
